Demi Lovato - Don't Forget

Don't Forget is the debut album of singer-songwriter Demi Lovato. It was released on September 23, 2008 in the United States through Hollywood Records, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

In its first week of release, Don't Forget sold 89,000 units in the United States, placing second on the Billboard 200, behind Metallica's Death Magnetic and ahead of the Pussycat Dolls' Doll Domination and Kings of Leon's Only by the Night, both of which were released in the same week.

Lovato has said that she writes music from the heart and from experiences she's had. She told J-14 Magazine: "I'm more of a writer whose stuff wouldn't make it on a Disney album. It's too dark. My mom's like, 'Oh my gosh, go to therapy.' So I came to the Jonas Brothers and I was like, 'Ummmm ... I need help writing catchy stuff just because, well, my target audience isn't metal music."

Demi Lovato - Here We Go Again

Here We Go Again is the second studio album from American pop rock singer Demi Lovato. It was released on July 21, 2009 under Hollywood Records. It debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 with sales of 108,000 copies.

Lovato stated that the new album is "going to have a different sound." In contrast to the pop rock influences of her debut album, Don't Forget, this album will incorporate more "John Mayer-ish type of songs". Demi also expressed that her previous album had more of a Jonas Brothers sound, as they helped co-write it. She wanted to make this album "more me."

She has been working with musical inspirations John Mayer, Jon McLaughlin, and William Beckett. Lovato said she would be performing her new music on her Summer Tour.

Unbroken is the third studio album by American pop singer Demi Lovato. The album was released on September 20, 2010, by Hollywood Records. Lovato worked with a variety of producers and writers such as Toby Gad, Rock Mafia, Timbaland, Dreamlab, and others. Lovato had been recording song for the album right after promotion for her second album, Here We Go Again , ended during the summer of 2010 and resumed in April 2011 after Lovato’s treatment stint ended. The album's lyrical content was heavily influenced by the singer’s emotional problems that became publicized in late 2010 when she was sent to rehab for treatment. This came after an altercation with a back up dancer occurred while on tour with the Jonas Brothers. The album is sonically influenced by the sound of pop and urban artists like Rihanna and Keri Hilson.

The album received mixed to positive reviews from music critics. Some appreciated its material showing growth and maturity in Lovato’s music, while others dismissed it as immature and confusing. Lyrically, the majority of the album's songs are based on Lovato's life experiences of love, heartbreak, boys, and having a good time. Musically, Unbroken is rooted in the pop genre, while incorporating elements of R&B and dance music in its production and beats. The album debuted in the fourth position on the Billboard 200 with sales exceeding 96,000 copies.[1] It also debuted in the top five position on the charts in Canada and New Zealand

"Skyscraper" is the first single from the album. It was officially released on July 12, 2011 and it was written by Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins and Estonian singer Kerli Kõiv, and produced by Gad. It reached a position of number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Elsewhere, the song peaked at number 18 on the Canadian Hot 100, nine in New Zealand, number 45 in Australia, and 70 in Slovakia. It has topped the iTunes Top 100 Songs and Top 100 Music Videos. The song was very well-received from music critics and also from the media, with the majority of them praising Lovato's vocals and the inspirational lyrics. The music video was released on Lovato's VEVO page on July 13, 2011 and was directed by Mark Pellington. Lovato has performed "Skyscraper" many times, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dancing With the Stars and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

"Give Your Heart a Break" is the second single from the album. It was officially released on January 23, 2012. It was originally announced that Lovato's second single would be "Who's That Boy" (which features Dev), however Lovato later changed the single to "Give Your Heart a Break", officially announcing it on Twitter. The song was written and produced by Josh Alexander and Billy Steinberg. The official audio was released on Lovato's official YouTube page on December 12, 2011 and on December 24, 2011 Lovato uploaded an official lyric video to the song on her official YouTube channel. It features the words, and the background features scenes of Lovato writing in a diary, in which the lyrics are printed onto. In the description of the video, it said that the official music video will be shot and released in 2012. She performed the song at the MTV New Year's Eve on December 31, 2011 and at the People's Choice Awards on January 12, 2012. The song has received very positive reviews from music critics. It officially impacted Hot/Modern/AC radio on January 23, 2012 and Top 40/Mainstream radio on January 24, 2012. Lovato appeared on American Idol on March 15, 2012 performing the single. The music video premiered on Lovato's Vevo page on April 3rd, 2012.

Many songs from the album charted on the iTunes Top 100 Singles chart prior to its release, which resulted with the songs "Fix a Heart" and "Unbroken" debuting at #69 and #98 while peaking at #35 and #50 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100.
